TO THE CAMPUS

Buses 5, 7, 8, 8A, 9, 107, 112, 133, 178, 233, 239
and trams 47 and 49 stop at the campus stop "Astoria".

If you come from the M2 underground station "Astoria", the easiest way is
to take Rákóczi út (see the interrupted blue line). The building is about 100 meters from the
corner.

If you approach the venue from the M3 and M4 underground station "Kálvin tér" and
you would like to walk, you need to take Múzeum körút, passing the National
Museum on your right. The best option is to walk on to the main entrance of the
campus with the inner court, first turning right, then turning left and continuing
in between the buildings till you reach the court entrance of R5 (see the interrupted blue line).
The walk from Kálvin tér to the main entrance takes around 7 minutes, while within
the campus you will need an extra 3 minutes.

The aerial map below shows the pale green Building R5 as seen from the inner court
of the campus.

HOW TO REACH THE VENUE?

From the airport to the city

Airport shuttle bus service

The orange-coloured desks of the shuttle bus service can be found within the
baggage claim area and also on the landside after customs. They offer a quick
shared-ride service to any address. We recommend that you use this service.
You can buy return tickets, which means that on the way back you can simply call them
in advance to pick you up from your hotel (tip: making the call 2-3 hours before you
wish to leave for the airport is sufficient). A one-way trip costs 3200 HUF (ca. 12 EUR)

More info: http://www.airportshuttle.hu/en/

Taxi

The dedicated taxi company Főtaxi will cost you around 7000 HUF (ca. 25 EUR)
into the city centre (the company has its kiosk right in front of the terminal, and this
is also where you need to pay your ride before getting into the taxi).

Tip: Don't get into any private taxi.

Public transport

At the airport on the landside arrivals you will find a BKK ticket office where you can buy your travel pass or tickets. See the ticket types at: http://www.bkk.hu/en/prices/

The bus 200E runs every 10 minutes from its stop conveniently located between
Terminal 2A and 2B arrivals levels to "Kőbánya-Kispest" underground station
on the M3 line. The journey takes 25 minutes. Buy your tickets from the vending
machine or from the driver.

Tip: If you have lots of luggage or no tickets for the underground, stay on board
the bus till the very last stop even if most of the people get off when the loudspeaker
first announces Kőbánya-Kispest station. The bus will continue and drop you shortly
at the entrance of a shopping mall with escalators taking you to the level from which
a well-signposted bridge leads to the underground station where you can buy tickets
more conveniently. This is 100 more meters' walk but it makes a big difference.
